Take your commitment to equality to the next level by becoming a member of the "Friends of Niagara Pride Committee" (FONPC).

This structured volunteer opportunity allows you to leverage your unique professional skills and personal networks to support our mission through focused sub-committees, including...

  • Events & Logistics,

  • Fundraising & Development, and

  • Community Outreach & Education.

As a non-governance advisory group working closely with our Board and Staff, FONPC offers a meaningful way to lead resource mobilization efforts and program support without the fiduciary requirements of a board seat. Join us for a renewable one-year term and help Niagara Pride build a lasting legacy of safety and affirmation for the LGBTQIA2S+ community across rural and urban WNY.

Niagara Pride, Inc. may have opportunities for individuals with diverse experiences and backgrounds to lend their time and knowledge to our mission.

If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know in what capacity -- volunteering can be geared towards your areas of interest and experiences. While we may not always be in need of volunteers, we welcome you to take part in our many events and programs offered throughout the year.

We provide a basic background check for all volunteers and a more thorough one for regular volunteers.  All volunteers must meet with us before they are approved.  Prior to beginning any volunteer duties, all volunteers must review and sign the volunteer agreement.

Niagara Pride is committed to equal opportunities and all volunteer recruitment decisions will be based on merit, sustainability for the role and experience.  All volunteer recruitment decisions will not be influenced by race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, disability or age.  Niagara Pride fully endorses a working environment free from discrimination and harassment.
